Biography

Oskar Mulley

Oskar Mulley was born in 1891 in Klagenfurt. From 1910 to 1913 he attended the Wiener Akademie and studied under Alois Delug and Rudolf Jettmar. From 1918 till 1934 he lived in Kufstein, afterwards in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Mulley got known for his paintings showing landscapes and still lifes. His art shows effects of impressionism and decorative elements. He exhibited in the Künstlerhaus Wien in the year 1927 and was awarded the Wiener Volkspreis of the Wiener Künstlerhaus in 1929. Mulley became a member of the Wiener Künstlerhaus as well as of the Wiener Sezession. He died on the 15. January 1949 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
